Ya a friend is hammering the lake trout on it but of course does not know the name of it

It does sort of. I had an Al's goldfish when I was a kid. Notice the large hole that the split ring is connected to? This seems to be a bit of a trend with thin flutter type spoons. Looks to create a free swinging more erratic movement.
