Made the drive along the North Shore through wind, rain, fog, sleet, and snow last Saturday to see Gordon Lightfoot in Thunder Bay. For a stretch, the waves were crashing and the car was feeling the gusts of wind off the lake.

Most memorable drive to a concert.

Seeing him in concert would be totally awesome, and in Thunder Bay too, wow!

Sounds like a Carefree Highway. Did you travel in the Early Morning Rain or at Sundown?

I've seen him three times. Always great. His voice is getting weaker though, sad to say. The last time I saw him the drummer switched from sticks to brushes so as not to cover his voice (noted by the reviewer in the next days paper.)

Nevertheless, the Wreck, in person, will give you goosebumps.

Mike
