Can't believe this hasn't already come up...

My last words would be to please have a live vocalist sing a song at my funeral that could be a live recording and perhaps the best concert ever, I hope it wouldn't be the worst concert. Maybe Lindsey the Dog would make an appearance?

I tried to highlight the OT threads in my post, but couldn't.

Happy Thanksgiving

There must not be too many woman on here that had a David Cassidy poster on their wall growing up, maybe that is why no one mentioned him. I did use to watch the Partridge Family when I was kid ;)

My sisters had a poster of him on their wall, not me.
I was in love with Susan Dey/Laurie Partridge.

Enjoyed the show when I was a child, and I must admit, the Partridge Family "Family Album" was one of my first albums.

I remember a "Police Story" episode where he played a young looking cop sent undercover into a high school. It was good enough for me to remember it 45 years later.

I can't believe Danny Bonaduce outlasted him.

My wife was a huge fan........I think she still has some memorabilia stashed away somewhere. I don't think she knows as she doesn't watch much news or even much TV. I will have to mention it to her. Of course she quickly forgot about him once I entered the room ;-)

I informed my wife of the demise of her teenage pop star crush and she quickly corrected me that her favorite Partridge was Shaun Cassidy who is very much alive. Pretty sure I watched a few episodes of the Partridge Family along with the Brady Bunch, Gillian's island, Get Smart, The Beverly Hillbillies and of course Hogans Heros.

Nowadays kids can watch Modern Family. Quite the values change in only 30 or 40 years. Such a show would of horrified Americans just a generation ago.

Such a show would not have appeared on the airwaves, period.

Please inform your wife that Shaun Cassidy ( David's half brother ) was never on the show Partridge Family, only David Cassidy was a Partridge. Shaun was one of the Hardy Boys back in the day.

Loved all of the shows you mentioned. Have you ever seen the movie Stalag 17 starring William Holden (1953) ? I'm pretty sure this where they got the idea for Hogan's Heros. It is well worth watching if you haven't seen it. More of a drama and not much comedy, but still worth a watch. There is even a Sargent Shultz.......
