I've never done that part of the AT, but I have done some in TN/NC and VA. It was my original dream to thru hike, but then a friend of mine dragged me on a 2 week canoe trip to some place called Quetico. Been hooked ever since.

Enjoy it, should be a nice day. It is here and you're about 3 hrs. away. I did some around there many years ago.
