The brookie in lot 2270 is awesome but if I was lucky enough to spend $1100+ on such a thing I would have to go with the 27" laker in lot 2244. I wonder if that's the same guy that has done some spearing decoys, I recall seeing that name somewhere?

He must have developed a name and is in demand. Prices seem a wee bit much. Good for him if he's getting the price. Pictures probably don't do the work justice.

I lean to the smallmouth because I love bass, but I'd go with one of the trout. I like how he bends their bodies and the colors are killa!

I didn't like any of the smallmouth. If you want to see some smallmouth art check out Al Agnew. His prints look pretty realistic.

Al is a heckuva fisherman too. Loves his ozark smallies out of a canoe.

I have a few shirts with Al Agnew smallmouth prints on the back. I also have an Al Agnew ball cap that has an embroidered smallmouth on it. I think his work is amazing. I'm sure a lot of people have seen his work before and don't even know it. He does a lot of BassPro catalog covers.

I'd go with the lake trout on birchwood background. Lakers are unusual enough in California to spark conversation and together with the background would be a good fit for my decor.
