I wouldn't jump into it. If you can, move up at least a bit. Not that early Wenonah canoes were bad. The question would be is it more of a tripping or racing canoe. Model?
Plenty of more modern boats out there pretty cheap. Don't rush into anything that old. Paint? Hmmm. Red flag there... Is it the molded seat the tractor seat?
My opinion is you can get newer stuff about as cheap. Do you have any pictures?

Mick85: "Hey guys thanks but after seeing more pictures of it, looks to be a lot of spots already patched. Looks like it in pretty tough shape. I think I’m going to pass and keep looking. Thank your for all of your guys help"
Keep looking! I have 5 beautiful canoes and all were bought used for approx 50% of new price. I did have to travel a couple times. It is hard for me to pay for a new canoe and take the chance i won’t like it. Much easier to get money back for the used one by reselling it.
Post what you are looking for in the for sale section. I see people getting help there finding what they want.
