45 degrees and sunny with very little wind. I think I need to paddle.

Were you on the Hay river in western Wisconsin? Barron county or farther south?

Farther south. I usually start at Wheeler just a mile north of my house.

I plan to checkout a section up by Prairie Farm this year. The challenge is that it's a fairly narrow river, so trees can fall all the way across the river and things can change from year to year. From Wheeler down stream we keep it cleared out.
