On a recent guided hike in the southwest, our guide brought agave nectar to sweeten oatmeal and spread on bagels. I had not previously tried it, but it was very good. It did not take much to add the flavor. Has anyone else tried it?

I use it at home as a sweetener when needed. Mainly because I haven’t bought refined white sugar in 15 years.
