That is really cool. Unless I knew what I was looking at, I would never guess its an aerial shot of the wilderness.
Is there one from last summer that shows the same area all greened up? I'd like to add it to my computer background slide show? I tinkered with MODIS but could not get it to zoom like you did.

Sentinel has an average revisit time of five days, so there are plenty of images for the whole year, although many are limited by cloud cover. MODIS has a resolution of 250 meters compared to Sentinel at 10 meters, so no amount of zooming is going to get as detailed an image.
Here is one from May 7, 2017.
And one from October 14, 2017.

That's a great shot. Is there a link for that satellite feed? I remember accessing something like that a few seasons back.

I access it through this link: Copernicus open access hub
You have to sign up for an account and the files are each about 1 GB.

It still looks like a lot of ice up there from today's satellite pic. Some water is opening up but other large bodies of water look fairly socked in still. Zooming in to 250m gives a better up-close view despite the cloud cover.

Do you think it would work to take that image and blow it up, or would it get too grainy for a 3' by 4' print?
I want to put it on the wall in my 4 season porch. I'm a big fan of Sag, and the lakes beyond, and can see it in the lower right corner.

Maybe, I’ll export one at the maximum resolution and see how it looks.

Can you post it here, or email it to me? I would like to take it to a professional, and have them make me a 3' by 4' print. I'll have to measure the print I have on the wall now, to see exact, but it's in that ballpark.
