Heading in Baker 39 entry for my first time in less than 2 weeks, anyone have fishing intel they would share on the Temperance lakes or the west end of Brule? We focus more on walleyes and smallies, but like to catch pike too. You are welcome to send an email if you don't want to post on the forum. Thanks.

Heading there Saturday! I’ll keep you posted on how we do. If you use the search function you can find some of the intel your looking for. As far as S. Temperance I’m going to be starting on the Bay that is by the Brule portage. The bay by the N. Temperance portage and in between the islands. Good luck!

So I can't talk about N. Temperance ore Brule itself, but I was averaging 17-20 inch smallies on S. Temperance on the West end mostly early evening during the end of July last summer, jigs with crawfish trailers and mepps spinners

I caught a large walleye in the circled area too. It was on a standard Rapala body and a scatter-rap lip. We also caught a few to the west of the solid star trolling the area between the islands.

Smallmouth were not biting at all for us, but I think we had poor timing with spawning or mayfly hatch. We did catch a handful of smallmouth on North Temperance though. It took all day to catch a few, but they were concentrated around rock piles.

This was mid June in 2016
