Has anyone out there used the Sea to Summit X-Pot series? It's a collapsible silicone pot with plastic lid. Reviews on REI are mixed, just curious what you have experienced pros/cons? Thanks!!

I have many Sea to Summit collapsible cups, bowls, plates, etc. I'm not a big fan of them. They collapse way to easy. I purchased a cup and a bowl and initially liked them so I purchased 4 of each. I don't use them any more. I'm guessing that the pots are about the same. If you buy one, give us a review.

I have the X-Pot Kettle, the teakettle in the X-Pot series. I've used it quite a bit and have had no problems with it. Since I only use it to boil water, I haven't any issue with food sticking as some reviewers report. I also haven't any problems with the lid warping or breaking, as some have. It's sturdy enough for its intended purpose and heats water quickly due to its aluminum bottom. I use it on an MSR Windpro stove.

I haven't used any of the other vessels in the X-Pot line, but I'm generally a fan of the Sea to Summit X products. I use an X bowl, an X mug, and an X shot glass (for sipping and for measuring). I've never had them collapse during use, and the silicon keeps food hot while remaining hand- or lap-holdable.
