Any of that moisture showing up on the radar going to make it far enough north to help ease the fire concerns.

I'm not white wolf, but it sure looks like it will make it into the BW.
Severe Weather south of Duluth now and more bad stuff heading towards the BW from Grand Rapids.

I could maybe go up there and wring out my t-shirt. Might be enough.

Every time it looks dark and we hear the thunder here in Perham, we get only about enough to wet the driveway and then it steams and adds to the dew point.

I think todays (tonights) batch will hit mainly the West part of the BW and spare most of Cook Cty. Tomorrow afternoon/ evening and into the overnight there is a much better chance further E into Cook Cty. This should buy more time.....

Lets hope the rain doesn't come with the cost of severe weather. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings now for a large chunk on the BWCAW--

* Until 815 PM CDT

* At 727 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ash Lake, to near Ely, to 9 miles west of
Beaver Bay, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Travelers in
the BWCA should seek shelter.

Large hail, damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning
is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning

thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Quite impressive radar presentation.

I watched the front arrive at Grand Marais Harbor. The gust front was very strong as it arrived and I’m sure GM got at least 1-1/2” of rain in 45 minutes. Some high water in the streets. Fun to observe and experience weather events.

Yeah-- a little odd in the direction the storm front moved from--- SW to NE or almost straight S off Superior--

radar estimated rainfall-- ZULU is spot on.

We were camping on Ogishkemuncie Lake near Seagull Lake during this storm. I really wish I had thought to take photos but I stashed everything into the tent as the storm approached. It was impressive and a little scary! We watched the front line roll over us. It was amazing really. My question to you, Whitewolf is this. Is there some sort of weather website that I would be able to look up the radar replay of a storm? Most weather apps and radar loops are only for current conditions. My husband and I would love to be able to see the replay of the radar of those storms we endured. We are just such weather junkies, we want to know! Lol
