... to arrive in Ely on Saturday. If you see gray, Ohio plated Pilot with a flying moose sticker on the window, say howdy!

I'll be leaving northeastern Indiana after work late Friday night. Looks like about 13 hours for me to Rockwood Lodge and Outfitters on the eastern side. Safe travels!

13 hours from Indiana? Well maybe, but we travel more casually. Enjoy Rockwood, we stayed there last September and loved the setting.

Hmmm....?

From my driveway to theirs is 12 hours and 26 minutes according to my GPS. I'll only stop for gas and food at the Trail Center Lodge.

The gas pumps at Trail Center are down while Sarah figures out a fix for the payment system. Nor'wester sells gas, about 1 more mile down the trail.

I am jealous. There is nothing more exiting than the start of a trip. The drive north is so much more fun than the drive back. Enjoy and catch a lot of fish!
