Well just reserved my permit for EP 23. First time where outfitting ourselves and getting a permit ourselves rather than doing a complete outfitting through an outfiter. Going in mid September 2 guys to basswood river area. Hopefully the fish will cooperate lol.

When I first started going in 1994 with boy scouts we outfitted through CBO at the time. It didn't take long to get addicted and each year we needed less until we just needed the bunk house before and after trip.
Now we typically stay Fall Lake, or another EP campground.

If you hang around Ely check out outfitters for used packs and stuff they may be getting rid of....that is how I got my collection
