Finally got around to applying 303 to my canoe last night. Man, it makes it look a million times better, besides the obvious protection benefits.
This being the first time I've used it, I'd say I generally did okay, but I found that in a few spots I'd have a dull area where it looked like maybe the 303 hadn't fully adhered, but trying to buff it in made it look duller, not shinier, and adding a touch more 303 in that spot also had the same effect; and of course the bottle warns about overusing it. Not a big deal, but I'm guessing there's a technique I didn't get quite right on the first try. Is there technique I should know about?
I don't think there is any trick to applying 303. If you have a dull area it's probably dull on the hull itself. I've got a Bell canoe with some dull areas and 303 will not fix them.
