I was paddling last week with one friend. He had not been to the BW before. There were two extended stays in the lien because of the rain.
For the second bout of weather we were in a campsite on the northeast part of Insula. The wind was so strong that I had to use a big stake about 10' in front of the lien with some cord to support the ridgeline rope. It added a lot of strength and gave me some piece of mind.
My friend handled the weather well. I worry when I take people on adventures that have some adversity, but it was all good. We had a lot of wind on the way out and it was nice to have a strong guy in the bow.
He wants to go again, so that would be good.

You do mean "lean", right? :)
lien
