Probably going next year to entry 62 Clearwater with a older family member who's a little on the soft side. What camp at 62 has easiest landing that's more a gentle rise over a rocky upward site?

I take it you are staying on Clearwater and not continuing to another lake?

Clearwater Outfitters has pretty thorough reviews of every site on the lake:

Clearwater Lake

Also, click around on the maps here on this site, which feature reviews by users - lots of helpful info there.

I'd think the far Eastern one near the portage to West Pike would be the best. The landing is pretty decent but if that proved too much the landing at the portage is great and there is a pretty short trail from the portage to the campsite.

A close second in terms of easy landing is the site to the West of the portage to Mountain lake. Easy landing but there is a bit of a hill to get up to the main campsite. Not hard walking, but a hill for sure.

I'd agree with the far eastern site. Stayed there two years ago. Easier landing faces back west, not east into the bay. Best picture I have. Look under the hammock.....flat, gentle sloping rock shelf to step out onto.

Nice list.

#6 on their list has a shallow submerged rock ledge, as long as you are wet booting it doesn't get any easier, pop a leg out and stand up. #5 and #7 are better sites overall, but far more likely to be occupied.
