I went to the presentation given by the two guys that made the 1000 mile trip in Minnesota by bicycle, canoe and backpack. They used all Minnesota made gear and gave Dan Cooke’s gear great reviews. There was a thread about the trip on BWCA.com earlier this summer. The two did a great job presenting and were very interesting. It was funny to see a Solo Northstar canoe being portaged in a U of M lecture hall. I was amazed that the dog was along for every mile. Cinna rode in a bicycle trailer and rides nice in the canoe.
