Thanks for the link. Just in case people are wondering there is $4.95 shipping because it is under $99, but only totals $101.70 with tax and shipping. Already own the mesh, just couldn't pass up the solid for this price. Love this chair!

Nice! Purchased one last year and love it. When you're chilling around the campfire and get very, very relaxed it's great to have support for the head.

Fantastic deal. Thanks for the heads up. If you had to pick just one (or get a matched set), do you go fabric or mesh?

MWFirecraft, have you noticed any sag/stretch in the monofilament mesh vs what you'd expect from the poly of the fabric version?

Have only owned the mesh chair for a day so can't give a report. Could not find any reviews on it either. The reason I chose the mesh was because I hate a wet chair from leaving over night and I thought it would either not hold the moisture or would dry immediately with the wipe of a cloth. I will say mesh feels very sturdy and appears to be very well made.

Good point! I get slaughtered in my hammock without a pad. This doesn't affect me as I wear pants and long sleeve shirt with permethrin.

I know that the mesh on our REI Flexlites is a godsend when they occasionally get left out where the rain can get at them.

Well, I dragged my feet on this decision...and they dropped the price another $5. Needed two, so I grabbed one of each (black mesh and red fabric). Time will tell which ends up being the favorite.

I wish i was a little quicker to get to this thread, but if you enter the code SHIP49 youll get free shipping too. Also if you have ever heard of ebates, you should know that a similar site exists for outdoor stuff from these kinds of sites (including patagonia, cabellas, north face, etc) called ActiveJunky. Basically you set up an account and you get cashback for free after navigating to the destination website through their portal (they send a check in the mail every 6mos). ActiveJunky has 10% back on cheapnsteep right now so that brings the price down another $9.00.

Great find on the chair. Just ordered up one. Been waffling on it ever since my buddy slumped into my chinese cheapie version and bent the legs on my last BW trip. The thicker poles and larger size should be perfect and the price is finally right!
