Hello all,

What time of the year is best to go for the BB. When do they tend to go away? And what are some of your fav. things to do with them? I have done pancakes and muffins for breakfast.

Hope you all are making it through the winter
Al

That somewhat depends on the year, but late july to mid august are usually good times. I mostly make pancakes if I can keep myself from eating them all as I pick. I did have some amazing blueberry porridge that I and my fellow campers were given by an old trapper on one of my long trips. I'm not sure what was in it, but he warned us not to eat too much lest we have a bad case of the "trots".

We've always had blueberries galore when we've gone around our anniversary on July 25th.
