i dont know if anyone out there flyfish's or not but if anyone does do you have any fly patterns you'd suggest for pike, smallies, walleyes, and cisco
second off has anyone ever eaten cisco and if so how was it. I only want personal experince here no "well ive heard" crap
and also how well they work for pike bait and if its legal.

For pike, I like using large flies, 4 or 5 inches at least. Bright colors and black work well. If you're using an 8 wt or heavier, the bunny flies are great but sometimes a little difficult with 7 wt and less to throw all day so the synthetics work well then. I don't catch a lot of wallies on flies, seems there always too deep most of the time for my floating lines. Smallies up there have been hit and miss for me but the standard fare works well.

I have only caught one walleye and that was by accident. You can’t go wrong with a rabbit strip leech for either Pike or SMB. I tie a rabbit strip pattern that is palmered around the hook with bead chain eyes that has been quite effective for me. Also, don’t overlook wollybuggers. Give them a little flash in the tail and they do well on SMB as well. Scott E. Smith’s Zoo-Cougar Sculpin is also a pretty good pattern.

Pike and Smallies, flyrod heaven. I am partial to the Dahlberg Diver. I make up the standard version spun deer hair head and vary what goes on behind it. Hair a Bou is lightweight and can be tied to 6-8" lenths and works well for pike. Shorter tails of maribou and tinsel work for smallies. Fish not coming to the surface? I'll swittch to a muddler minnow or rabbit leech or even a good old fashioned streamer. Muddler minnows and wooly buggers have both caught me the occasional walleye, this has only happened early spring with shallow water fish. Good luck!
