I have memories of big snow storms when canoecopia comes around . This year is no different. 16" or more this morning and it's still snowing heavily just sw of Two Harbors. No end in sight. We're doomed....

I skipped out of Duluth and am staying in the Banana Belt, they call it Grand Rapids. We will be back to Duluth tomorrow to begin shoveling, thankful for the hot tub and water slide at our hotel.

We will save some snow for you Ben.

May the rivers be crooked and winding, and your portages lonesome, leading to the most amazing view.

Pics of our neighborhood in Duluth. There is a full sized SUV under that snow in front of the garage. I swear we have gotten over 130 inches of snow at our place just a few miles from the Duluth Airport. Disclaimer, the SUV hasn't moved in 5 years.
