My OTB Odhins died last year after 15 years of use, And of course you can't get them anymore.

Dont have them but I just looked at these same boots myself and I think I'm gonna go with Simms Tributary instead, which are the same price right now from a few retailers who have them on sale. I trust the Simms name a little more I guess. Maybe anecdotal, but I'm in your same shoes.

Looked at the Simms as well, but didn't see the sales, I will have to do some digging, thanks!

Bass Pro has the Tributary on sale right now depending on your size. I'm ordering a size 12 to fit with my Chota Hippies and their $99 right now. The Freestone, a slightly better boot, is also on sale for $129 down from $179 (pending your size).

Just wanted comment again and let you know that after some more digging myself and research I ended up getting the Foxelli. They arrived today and they seem pretty well made with a nice stiff sole. I wear a 10.5 normally, and ordered at 12. With thick Darntough wool socks, and the Chota Hippies, they fit just about perfect. The color is a bit tacky and makes them look cheap but I'm it's nothing a little mud can't fix.

Figured I'd let you know my thoughts!

Looking forward to giving my Foxelli boots a workout this season. After shopping around for best price and quality product I landed on the Fox. They will pair up with my Cabelas hip waders that have been modified into Hippies. The knees are neoprene backed and I really like them. The group will hear about my experience with the new boot. At one time I learned bed the Chita boot but wore them out too quickly to be of value. They do look a little odd.

Do they run true to normal foot sizes? What about Width, I usually wear at 10E (Fred Flinstone Feet as my wife calls em)

That I couldn't answer, as I ordered 1.5 sized larger than my normal size to accommodate the wader socks and thick wool socks underneath. Their website had a good sizing chart though and the inside of the boot is neoprene which is very forgiving. From the reviews I read of those using them with just normal socks, they very much fit true to size.

Earlier this summer I used my Foxelli boots in the Q during a three week adventure. Although the weather warmed to the point where I only wore my Merrill tactical boot, I was very pleased with my Foxelli/hippy type boot with neoprene sock. The boot was so snug I carried very little water back into my solo boat. My pair is holding up well and I really appreciated the ankle support.

Used mine in May with Chota Hippies. I felt they held water a little more than they should for a wading boot but otherwise they were great and excellent traction. I think I probably could have gone down 1/2 size for a more snug fit and in hindsight, that is probably where I had the water issue more than yours.

Overall, for $100, not sure they can be beat.
