I don’t think it’s operated as a resort for many years. An acquaintance of mine from another forum grew up staying there with the Powell family and continued to do so until Covid hit. I believe they sold the place recently but don’t know if the new owners intend to re-open the resort or just use it as a family space. I’ll be up in the area in one month and will see what I can find out. So much history up there.
The last operating resort on the Canadian side of Sag that I know of is Sagonto, which is on the same island as the Chip.
