Anyone base camped in this area and have fishing info? Considering it for a trip next month.

The wife and I along with two younger teenage kids stayed in the area in 2018 or so. We stayed in the site on the east shore north of an island. The far northeast bay was neat. Super clear water and shallow in spots. We caught pike, a few walleye and some big smallmouth. Seen a few people but overall it was peaceful.

I stayed in the north arm August 2001 and August 2004 early in my canoeing career. I've stayed at the site on the point where the arm bends east and remember catching walleyes right from shore. Also stayed at a site toward the east end on the north side... it was very large and a nice mother/daughter group allowed us to share an overnight before they left the next day. We caught several lake trout on Banta. And lost a BIG lake trout north of the island on the N-S part of Ottertrack.
