Thinking about cooking some nice side dishes with the meals I thought these babies would be perfect. You could fill a pack with them and not notice the difference and all you need to do is throw them into some boiling water for like 7 minutes and you are set to go.

not to mention there are endless varieties of both noodle and rice sides.

Just curious how many of you use these as sides and what other tasty and simple side dishes are a must have!?

I have also added fish or foil pouch chicken and made a meal out of them. This in addition to some bannock (homemade) or fry bread from cache Lake makes a real nice dinner.
