Has anyone been through Isabella Creek from Point lake lately? I saw a video of the portage and it looked pretty marshy and overgrown. Maybe because more people take the creek? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

Sorry, not from Point lake. The creek is from North Bay going into Isabella Lake.

I’ve done that maybe 3 times the last on 2019 and never had an issue. Some small beaver dams and very twisty route but never a low water issue.

I use the route a few times a year. On two occasions I've taken the portages into an unnamed and then into Isabella. On one occasion I've paddled the creek where there was not enough water to float the canoe for much of the way- the creek bottom was solid for nearly the entire way- we walked the creek and pulled the canoe.

At the bottom of the creek there are often a few stoney riffles that require wading.
