I was camping at the Bobcat site on High Lake the weekend after the 4th of July with a group of friends. We scouted a path and portaged into Jay Lake. Can anyone tell me if there are any fish in Jay Lake, and what species?

We fished Jay for maybe 20 minutes before the two in the canoe that had the food pack in it decided that there were no fish in Jay Lake and started bushwacking to Crooked. The other four of us would have liked to give it a little more of a shot before giving up. However, that first canoe had our lunch, so we felt like we had to stay fairly close lest they take more than their fair share of the country mix.
