We are considering making our first trip to crooked lake in late July this next year. There is a lot of information out there on crooked fishing (most in June), but I could not find much info on fishing in late July time-frame. We are doing a 7 day trip looking at coming in EP 23 going to LBWF the first day and continuing to crooked then exciting out Friday through gun. Any suggestions on locations what to look for and tactics for catching walleye and smb in this area? Are you still looking for current and the neck down areas. Any suggesting/ tips would be helpful (we only caught one walleye on our last trip).
