I have an Ascend 10 fishing kayak I use on Mississippi backwaters, and for duck hunting. I've never done a yak trip up there. 30+ trips and always used a canoe. If I avoid portages and do 3-5 miles per day is this doable? I'm looking at Seagull to Alpine uo through Sag and back down. This will be a fishing focused trip where last year was a much longer solo up through LLC. This is a hybrid style so I sit in, but its very open unlike a sea kayak.

If this is a dumb question I apologize! I moved to a hammock system last year and this year I'm thinking kayak.
