Stephenson warmlite 3r with the following:

-double end liners

-double layer aluminized fabric

-sky view extra door entry (my favorite, wish they still offered it)

-double side windows

-double wind stabilizers (pictured with one of them deployed

-extra ground sheet (used)

-all screens in great shape

-no rips or tears, just a few micro scuffs from limited use

- all zippers work flawlessly

-poles in excellent shape

Tent is in awesome shape and sewed extremely well. It needs its first rewaterproofing. Was never seam sealed and never needed it but it's just starting to get a little tacky in a few parts and could use probably just a gentle wash in a bucket and a rewaterproof spray. Just winter camped with it last week in the bwca to get one last trip out of it and worked great with no condensation issues in Temps in the teens and with stagnant to 40mph winds. Best tent I've ever owned.

A new custom 3R with all of these extras is over $2200 (and the double aluminum and star gazer door are no longer offered).

Message with any questions!

Thanks!

Wild. You don't see these come up often.

I own the 2RS model, still does its thing & is 45 years old. Mine is old enough to be PU-coated, not Silnylon... I don't know when that transition happened, but I would guess in the 90's - I know that by '98 they were at least available in Silnylon.

Questions:

Silnylon or PU coated nylon? You comment about it getting tacky makes me think PU coated, as that can degrade over time.

Weight?

Asking price?

Any pics with the doors/windows open? Of the inside?

Where are you located?

It's Ana amazing tent. I don't have a scale but I think it's less than 6lbs for sure. I think the inner end liners are PU and maybe the rest are sil, but not sure. The end liners are just now getting slightly tacky but they do not stick together. That's where I think it just needs a good nik wax wash and reproofing, but I just don't have much time for that anymore and would rather pass a deal on to someone who can put some time into it and save some money. Was hoping around $900 as a new one with all the trash here is over 2000. See extra photos. I've been particularly in taking exceptional care for the tent over the years so it looks almost new.

Send me a message on here and I'll swap more photos via email, it's too slow loading on my computer. Can also search this tent on ebay for all the photos but if you're interested then message me and offer so we can avoid the ebay fees.

Also, located in Duluth but am in Minneapolis often. Apologies for spelling mistakes as I'm typing quick via cell over lunch. Thanks!
