Some fires already reported in the West side of Rainy River District,North and west of Lac Lacroix and some others.Hopefully not an omen of what’s to come.Pray for rain in the Q!

I just finished reading “Fire Weather”, by John Vaillant. You may want to read it as it talks about the things affecting fires up north. It is good to be informed.

According to Wikipedia John is George's son. You will enjoy the book and learn a lot. I had just finished reading "Young Men and Fire", by Norman Maclean. It is also a good book.
