Cummings is a great smallmouth lake, but you probably won't catch a walleye there. What species are you looking to catch?

I heard perch and walleye are in Crab. Anything would be fine. We are staring in Crab though.

I went to Cummings last year. We murdered the Smallies, but caught no Walleys. There is a great campsite there on the southern part of the lake, midway east/west. The site is large with perfect open views to the west. Looking at the map you can see the site which is at the tip of a pinninsula. Fishing was great around the site.

You will have to go south to Battle to find walleyes, or take the trek over to Western and Chad which are west of Cummings.
