Just wondering what type of crackers everyone takes on their trips. I usually take Nabisco cornbread crackers but I have a hard time keeping them in one piece. I end up with lots of crumbs. I sure do like them with the flavored tuna packets for lunch.

Besides graham, I take along ritz. Like the jingle "everythings better when it sits on a ritz" Besides that, the kids like them. I have recently tried the kids out on Rye-Krisp at home and they liked it. I prefer these myself. Pack your crackers inside one of those cheapo disposable plastic tubs made for the freezer or microwave. It helps to prevent crumbling and stacks nicely. If you use a barrel maybe an old Pringles can will work?

You can also use a washed out milk carton to transport not only crackers, but other fragile foods. And you can safely burn them when empty.

I take triscuits and Ak-Mak crackers. They are pretty sturdy and everyone seems to like 'em. Personally, I'm fond of RyKrisp, but this is not a love that many share.

I take the rectangle ritz, I put 'em inside the coffee pot so they won't crumble and break.

We pack our crackers in Pringle canisters.
