Who's got the inside skinny on Pine Lake?

Yes, we are going on a total luxury trip to Pine Lake this year and are planning on living high on the hog while fishing Pine.

What I need are the tips on fishing this lake to make our trip even less challenging.

Pine is great for Northerns. It is a deep lake and is long. Winds can pick up pretty quick, so be careful. If you journey to the end, Johnson Falls is a nice jaunt. If you want to fish for brookies, take the couple little portages to the south into Gadwall and Vale. No motors are allowed on Pine, Gadwall, Vale, or Pike Lake, but are allowed on McFarland.
