I am set for my maiden voyage to the great Boundry Waters in June. I am looking for any fishing hotspots in and or around Ensign lake. We will be on the prowl for wally the walleye. If you have any secrets to make my first trip a memorable one, please share.

When in June?

i'll be there on ensign lake june11th-june 20th

On Ensign;

Fish the point on the north side of Ensign (near the portage into Trident) for walleyes.

Fish just east of the narrows between Splash and Ensign, on the north side of the point for smallies.

The long island with 4 sites on it has walleyes and smallies just off the eastern tip, between it and the small island.

Often the areas with walleye will get you smallies too.
