I am planning a trip for Mid-May, and I am wondering where the better walleye fishing is and which trip might be less difficult. I am considering Loon Lake and neighboring lakes through the Little Souix River, or Agnes Lake and it's neighbors through the Nina Moose River. I have never trekked through St. Louis County, so I am unfamiliar with the terrain and the spring fishing. If you know of any good small mouth spots along the way, please share.
