My hope is that this is a place for folks who use their edged tools to be able to openly discuss the best knives, axes, saws, etc. without the same old questions: Why do you need (blank) when going to the BWCA. A place to discuss and share some best practices and wisdom in using edged tools.

Wetterlings are great stuff. Look at Husquvarna as well. Just as good, both Weterling and Hults Bruk (Hutlafors Bruk) are making them for Husq. under contract. Might save a couple of bucks.
