I'm from Texas and I'm looking forward to my maiden voyage in BW June 4-11 with my girl friend. She is a veteran of canoe trips to BW, but not a fisherperson. She said she would paddle while I fish. I've read books and articles, but am still looking for any advice on fishing. We will be starting at Poplar lake and making our way to Gaskin and Winchell Lakes. Are the walleye done spawning by June? Will fish for anything that is biting. ~Ron
