Here is a photo of a Woodland Caribou on Haggart Lake in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. Also some youtube video...(sorry I was so shaky) Also some video of a loon and a HUGE Bull Moose.
My first Woodland Caribou sighting and my first Bull Moose.
I had a Rainbow in the sky, a Bull Moose, and a Woodland Caribou, all by 8:30 am...I call that a GOOD DAY!
This is "Why" I go to the Wilderness!

Paul,
We would love to add your caribou sighting to our database. We collect the following information for each sighting:
- Date
- Time of day (morning - mid day - evening)
- # animals
- Sex if known
- Location
- Activity (swimming - feeding - walking shoreline)
Love the videos and can't wait to read your report. Pleased to hear that all went well. How were the portages? Any problem areas?
