Mostly walleye were reported thought a few people caught northern pike and smallmouth bass.

Week ending 6/22/03 Fishing Report from Voyageur North/Ely Minnow & Tackle

6/15 Jaime Mobilia of Ely caught a walleye weighing 6.5 pounds, 29” long on Basswood, on a spinner & a minnow.

6/17 Justin Zemke of Ely caught a walleye (& released it!) 29” long, out of Basswood on a rainbow chub.

6/19 Sarah Slater of Morris IL caught a northern pike out of Johnson Lake, 5.5 pounds, 30”, with a spinner.

6/19 Ron Smith of Parkersburg IA caught a walleye out of Fall Lake on a leech. It was 4.5 pounds and 25” long.

Gerry Danzl of Ely caught a walleye out of Burntside Lake, 8.25 pounds, 30”, using a night crawler.

Jason Peach of Denver, Colorado caught a smallmouth bass out of Farm Lake using a leech and a Lindy Rig. It weighed in at 2.5 ponds and was 17” long.
