Why would you want to eat low carb when you are paddling and portaging. Wont you get enough exercise as it is without depriving your body of energy. "Balance edited by bogwalker-"

From what I have seen dehydrated meals tend to be high carb so they are probably out.
When I was on the low carb diet I ate a lot of meat. Meat is something that seems to be more difficult to get in BW. Jerky, eggs, bacon, summer sausage all keep well. You could bring a cooler of fresh steaks. Freeze them before the trip and they would be good for several days. Smoked ham and tuna packets for lunches.
However, I remember reading guidelines for the diet it is not for those doing extended strenous exercise. Low carb could leave you out in the wilderness and deprived of energy you need. Depending on the trip it may be an option, but have some backup in case.

I found some low carb tortillas made by Tumaro's that only have 13 grams of carbs in each slice. I usally make fajita's one or two nights out. They also can be used for breakfast barrito's or with butter and sugar substitute and cinnamon. I also used some lower carb pita's but I don't have the info on them at this time. Some of the South Beach Diet stuff is low in carbs. I only tried the High Protien Cereal Bars. I liked them a lot. They have 15 grams of total carbs per bar. I hope this helps.
