Most of my BWCA trips have been during the hot summer months; late June through early August.
I have always had decent fishing everywhere I traveled in the BWCA. This year I'm putting in in September.
My question is: When does the fishing typically pick up in the fall? And how do the fish (walter) pattern differently during this time of year.
