Watch out for Tyson the Grouse - that is what my son named him after he tried getting into the Lean as I was opening up a bag of Tyson chicken.

He would show up every night around 7 pm and you could get about 5’ from him unless you had a camera in your hand.

One morning I went to flip the canoe and Tyson had decided to setup his own campsite under the canoe. I don’t know who was more shocked, the grouse or me.

Tyson must be a recent arrival. I've camped in that site 2 of the last 4 years have not seen a grouse on the island. We pretty much walked the entire island gathering firewood.
