Agnes Lake, May 30th, 9:23 PM according to my camera. Rain was moving in after a hot, dry week. Besides the heat the blackflies were intense (but the trout fishing was good!) so everyone but me had retired to their tents for the night. I climbed up this ridge behind camp and tried some relatively long exposures at high ISO. Unfortunately I only had my Nikon D7000 and some relatively mediocre lenses with me--plenty good for fishing but not so much for landscapes. The rain came and lasted for the last 4 days of the trip and the mosses and lichens would "bloom" on these granite ridges. I don't know what the white-flowering plant is--looks like a rose or raspberry flower but it's a little woodier and no thorns. Some berry no doubt.
