I just had a friend tell me that Warbonnet is temporarily disabling all orders and sure enough the website has no "Add to cart" option for any products.

I just ordered a superfly on Sunday, I wander how long it's gonna take to ship now? Not that I'm in a hurry with not trips planned soon :)

Here's a post from the Warbonnet Guy on HammockForums regarding his current backlog. I give him credit for being upfront about his backlog issues and turning away new business until he gets caught up.

He's saying his backlog is four to five weeks. Based on my experience with him, I'll bet you have your gear in about three weeks.

I ordered a superfly a little over a week ago and he told me it would be about 2 weeks for it to ship.

Wow, that must have just happened. I ordered a WBBB about 2.5 weeks ago. I was expecting it to take about 3 weeks. 4 days after ordering, it was shipped. Received it less than a week after placing my order.

Loss of a key employee, breakdown of a piece of equipment that is the process bottleneck, heck even a family emergency could do that to a small business. Kudos to them for being straight forward about the backlog. Hope he's feeling better.

My suggestion to help him out is, anybody who doesn't have a trip that they need their ordered equipment for just let Brandon know that you are willing to have your order delayed so that those who need their stuff quick can get it. I've already posted as much on the hammock forums thread that Brandon started explaining the situation.
