Should be of your name and contact info. If you lose your camera and someone finds it, you have a good chance of getting it back.

Or your embarrassing pictures could be posted all over the net in someone's attempt to find the guy dancing around the campfire in his underwear.

I wish my first picture on a trip last year would have been of my entry point's portage from the lake. Never really looked back to see what it looked like and had one heck of a time finding it. (Little Gabbro)

My first photo is always me at the Laurentian divide sign just outside of Virginia.
That's the gateway to the true north. Anyone else have a "first photo"?
