Sounds like fun trip. You guys must have looked like the gun toting kind. :)
I don't think there's too many people that go to the BWCA to shoot there guns. Most I see are in the Superior National Forest at gravel pits target shooting etc..But maybe there was incident that happened near there that brought the extra talk about guns.
