As I was unable to attend any of the meetup groups this summer, I headed up for an overnight to see the progress the forest service made this year on the trail to Posse Lake. Only two blocking tree falls since the clearing but still hundreds of climb overs left to clear. More concerning is the evergreen seedling growth on an adjacent to the tread.
Actually those evergreen seedlings are crucial...IMHO They shade the tread and dissuade undergrowth...if there was any tread. I think we will have a trip every other week next spring if things go as planned. Stop by the Expo booth and have a chat.
I'm just here to give my opinion...If you don't like it, ignore it.
