Just finished a trip from Headwaters of Mississippi to Twin Cities and need to sell my square stern canoe with 4 hp motor. I'll even include paddles, chairs and gas can for free. I'm asking for $3k. Please contact me at 828-450-0063 if interested.

Thanks.

Chris

He posted no details on the boat or motor so there is really no way to know that.

OP Do yourself a favor and post some better info, like what the boat is, what the motor is and some pics would really help as well.

Wow, this person's plan is to buy all this stuff new, go from Bemidji to the Twin Cities in about a month then sell it for $600 less than what they paid? This seems like a big gamble and I can't say that I agree with their tactics. Personally I think that used items lose about half their value as soon as you can no longer call them new and a month of near continuous use is nowhere near new. They should have just rented it if they had no intention of keeping it long-term.

I agree... Instead of renting, he should have bought used equipment. I have seen old town sport square sterns go for $600-$1000 and 4 hp four strokes go for about the same.

Could have bought used and sold for about the same. I would never buy brand new unless it was a long term investment.

for example: Boat , Motor =$1250
